For The Ordinary Days: Everyday Jewellery, Inspired by Heirlooms
From 11 to 13 December 2026, Choo Yilin presents For The Ordinary Days, celebrating the everyday moments that become precious memories and the jewellery we choose to remember them by. It is our final Digital Trunk Show of the year.
The Choo Yilin Jade Bud Necklaces
There was a time when jewellery was largely reserved for life's great milestones.
Madam T, whose jewellery and personal story form part of the Choo Yilin Estate Library, was one such woman.
Her granddaughter lives in a different world: full inboxes, takeaway coffee, workdays, errands, hurried lunches with friends, and smaller milestones that can pass almost unnoticed. Yet she comes to understand something her grandmother knew all along.
Jewellery was never really about the occasion. It was about remembering.
That idea lies at the heart of For The Ordinary Days, Choo Yilin's final Digital Trunk Show of 2026.
Running from 11 to 13 December 2026, exclusively on www.chooyilin.com, the collection features 10KT gold and sterling silver, with prices starting from under USD 200.
Many pieces are direct descendants of jewels from the Choo Yilin Estate Library, including Madam T’s Trousseau, reinterpreted for another generation and another way of living.
The Vine Link Necklace (Sterling Silver & 10KT)
The Jade Bud Drop Earrings in 10mm and 12mm (18KT)
A pair of hoops bought for oneself at Christmas. A signet ring chosen on an ordinary day. A charm added to remember a season that mattered.
These are pieces intended to be lived with. Worn often. Layered over time. Added to gradually.
Madam T and her granddaughter may not have chosen the same jewellery, or worn it in the same way.
But perhaps inheritance was never about making the same choices. It was about recognising the same instinct in a different form: This mattered to me. I want to remember it.
Because the days we remember do not always announce themselves as important. Sometimes, they look completely ordinary.
The Statement Vine Earring (10KT), The Dewdrop Leaf Stud (10KT), and The Petite Blossom Stud (10KT).

Here are a few ways to find out:
Method 1: Measure the internal diameter of a ring you own and Google “ X mm→ US ring size”.
Method 2: Use a piece of string or dental floss and a ruler. Simply wrap the string or floss around the thickest part of the finger you’d like to wear the ring on, and either cut or mark the string. Then measure it with the ruler. Google “X mm→ US ring size”.
Method 3: If you’re shopping at a jeweller for another piece of jewellery, you can ask them to measure your US ring size.
Method 4: If you want the ring to be a surprise, you can purchase it at any size and have a local jeweller resize it up or down. We’ve designed our rings such that it should be a straightforward process.
