Will the products I purchased at your Mandarin Gallery Flagship Boutique be available at the Swan Song Sale?
No, the items available at the sale will be distinct from the product mix that was available at our Mandarin Gallery Flagship Boutique. Crafted in solid gold and having passed many rounds of stringent QC checks, the pieces at our Mandarin Gallery Flagship Boutique were far more suited to commemorate special moments and as future heirlooms. Dedicated after-sales care is also available for purchases made at our Mandarin Gallery Flagship Boutique.
In contrast, you can expect to see Choo Yilin samples, seconds, and archival items at the Swan Song Sale. The pieces are not of the same condition and/or metalwork of the pieces which were available at the Mandarin Gallery Flagship Boutique. What is a sample?
“Samples” are quite simply, pieces created as prototypes during our intensive research and development, product design, and production process. Many of these designs are one-of-a-kind, never-seen-before pieces. By virtue of the fact that these pieces are samples, they are also extremely limited in quantity.
What is a second?
“Seconds” are pieces that did not meet the high standards of quality required at the Choo Yilin Flagship Boutique in Mandarin Gallery. They may have minor flaws, which can present themselves as discolouration in the metalwork, significantly mismatched jade pieces, motifs that are not perfectly affixed, imperfect finishings, or imprecise proportions. These are often visual or surface imperfections, and do not affect the function of the jewellery.
What is an archival item?
“Archival Items” are pieces from past Choo Yilin collections that are no longer in production. Many of these pieces are perennial Choo Yilin favourites that long time friends and fans of the brand may be familiar with - through the years, many of you have asked us about these designs; we’ve looked through our archived inventory, and are happy to be able to present a selection of them now for you.
What kind of metalwork will the jewellery pieces at the Swan Song Sale be made of?
Most of the pieces available at the Swan Song Sale are crafted in sterling silver, with several designs, mostly from our archival collections, in bronze. A small selection of items are solid gold pieces.
Regardless of the metalwork, we would be more than happy to share tips on how to care for your jewellery.
What kind of discounts will be offered?
With seconds, samples, and archival items at up to 75% off, we can promise you that The Choo Yilin Swan Song Sale is a sale you won’t want to miss.
Is there a limit to the no. of items I can purchase?
To be fair to all our customers, a maximum of 5 items of jewellery can be purchased per customer.
Is there a time limit to the sale?
The Swan Song Sale will run on the following days -

Can I Bring My mum / sister / friend / husband / child?
Absolutely! All are welcome.
However, we do anticipate a crowd (and at certain times, even a queue), so do keep this in mind, and be mentally prepared for an exciting shopping experience. We look forward to meeting you all!
What modes of payment will you accept at the Swan Song Sale?
We accept payment via nets and credit card - Visa / Mastercard / American Express. In order for us to serve you as efficiently as possible, The Choo Yilin Swan Song Sale is a cashless event.
What is your exchange, return, refund, and warranty policy for items purchased at The Choo Yilin Swan Song Sale?
Items at our Swan Song Sale are sold “as is”. Exchanges, repairs, returns, and/or refunds are not possible. We appreciate your understanding that all purchases made are final sales.
How do I care for my jewellery?
With each purchase made at The Choo Yilin Swan Song Sale, you will receive a polishing cloth and a jewellery care card with detailed tips on how to care for your pieces. If you have further questions on how to care for your jewellery, we can be reached at hello@chooyilin.com.
Will there be an online version of the Swan Song Sale to follow?
The Swan Song Sale will be held only at our Choo Yilin Atelier in Joo Chiat from the 14th - 17th November. We will not be having an online version of the The Choo Yilin Swan Song Sale.
The pieces featured in the Swan Song Sale are seconds, samples, and archival items, and are available in limited quantities.
Due to the nature of seconds, samples, and archival items, we believe it’s important for our customers to be able to see and try on the jewellery pieces before making their purchase.
