The Warisan Kebaya Collection - A Regalia of Steadfast Love
What we always keep in mind at Choo Yilin, is that beyond being a fine jewellery label, we are first and foremost, storytellers, and this is a gift we consistently aim to honour. Jewellery is such a wonderfully enduring medium to cast precious memories upon and to celebrate life’s fondest moments with. With each creative endeavour we embark upon, it has always been the themes of Asian heritage, love, and becoming that take centre stage.
It is a true privilege to create fine keepsakes that symbolise life’s finest moments.
When we launched the Kebaya Collection in 2018, we featured handcrafted pieces inspired by the collection’s namesake, an iconic garment that continues to be worn by Asian royalty and is interpreted by many notable designers across the region.
Today, we’re revealing an exceptionally lavish extension of that inspiration:

Love extends far beyond aspirational romance; with this collection, we celebrate its plethora of forms - the love for family, friends, mentors and personal heroes. The unique, selfless affection we hold for the ones who truly matter, and the legacies we hope to create for the generations that come after.
It is also about the love invested in each Choo Yilin creation.
And perhaps among the most beautiful things about love is its resilience, and ability to transcend time. These key elements made it clear for us to create keepsakes that could embody these strengths. Each piece in the Warisan Kebaya Collection is cast in a delicate weave of solid 18kt rose gold, laurelled by a handpicked selection of the brand’s finest Ice Jade. At the very core of the design is a stunning diamond solitaire, symbolic of moments that shine.
The Warisan Kebaya Earrings, Necklace and Ring all feature the brand’s signature motif with exquisite filigree and milgrain in classic Choo Yilin flair.
The detailing is delicate, and the silhouettes of the motifs are gracefully refined, much like the contemporary, soft-hued aesthetic of modern kebayas and kurungs designed by Nurita Harith.
“Warisan” means legacy in Bahasa, and the collection was named with the sincere sentiment that each piece is created to last, much like the brand’s Warisan Collection which features one-of-a-kind 18kt rose gold pieces.

A dazzling new detail: diamonds!
As all of our jewellery is handcrafted, our pieces are available in limited quantities and some pieces of the Warisan Kebaya Collection were sold out in just a few weeks. While we prepared to have more pieces of the collection ready, we noticed more and more clients joining the waitlist and some even took to personally requesting for the pieces to be made available again via email, or through our Instagram or Facebook DMs.
