The 11 Choo Yilin Heirloom Rings
History has long told the story of love through diamonds. Their brilliance shaped the great eras of jewellery, and it is a lineage we have studied with deep respect.
In our part of the world, however, preciousness lived in jade and colour. Stones that warmed with the skin, carried blessings, and held the meaning of home. Jade was never ornamental alone. It marked continuity and protection passed from one generation to the next. Our mini digital trunk show begins from that point of view.
“Before the modern ring, love was already being chosen with intention. Each era simply gave form to what mattered most at the time: commitment, optimism, beauty, partnership.”
Through our lens, these eras are not chapters of the past, but reflections of how love has always been lived and how it is still chosen today.
Reimagining the iconic Eras of jewellery through a different lens
Each of the four iconic eras of jewellery becomes a reinterpretation anchored by jade, our most precious stone of blessing and continuity. Alongside it, we celebrate gemstones drawn from the rich colours of our landscape, including spinels, unheated sapphires and natural pink diamonds.
Art Deco boldness: For those who choose love that honours who they are becoming.
Belle Époque radiance: For those who believe love should be rich, expressive, and unapologetically beautiful.

Edwardian lightness: For those who believe love should make life feel larger, brighter, and full of promise.
From left to right: The Edwardian Gossamer Heirloom Ring and The Edwardian Lace Heirloom Ring, both in jade.
Victorian sentiment: For those who know that choosing someone, and choosing again, is not old-fashioned, but love in action.
These are heirloom rings, created for women who understand that legacy is not inherited passively, but chosen.

The mini digital trunk show: Private Access (Day one)
This collection is intentionally small: 11 ring designs, many of them one of a kind. Each represents a specific era and a specific precious centre gemstone. To add more would dilute the story.
The Before the Modern Ring mini digital trunk show will be held on 7 and 8 March 2026, live at 10AM (UTC+8), exclusively on chooyilin.com. Our subscribers will receive password access on day 1. Free shipping worldwide will be available for all orders, and tariffs will be absorbed for this event.
All rings will be shipped in May 2026, sized precisely for the wearer’s best fit. An heirloom deserves time. In a world of immediacy, we believe there is still power in waiting.
