Introducing The Warisan Sakura Collection

Once a year, Choo Yilin creates a new addition to the Warisan universe. The Warisan pieces, while designed as a set with matching earrings and necklaces, are most often loved as engagement and anniversary rings.

Over the years, clients have often requested botanical-inspired engagement rings. While we deeply love the Camellia, Hydrangea, and Cherry Blossom collections, we have had to share that these collections aren’t recommended for engagement rings.

INSPIRATION

The Warisan Sakura, as its name suggests, is inspired primarily by the brand’s beloved Cherry Blossom collections. While our earlier collections celebrate the flowers in full blooms, the Warisan Sakura is a deliberate nod to the blossoms in their bud form — our botanical interpretation of a quiet leap of faith, of holding onto what you may not yet be able to see; of hope, spring, and new beginnings.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

The Sakura elements for this piece are subtle. From the top, the piece presents simply as a pretty halo of diamonds surrounding the Type A ice jade. The side view is where the sakura buds become more visible, where the cherry blossom buds are set in diamond-studded clusters at gently varying heights.

THE JADE

While all our Warisan pieces feature highly translucent jade cabochons, each varies in colour. Some Warisan pieces have a blue hue, others have a green one. In this case, the jade cabochons used in the Warisan Sakura pieces reflect the gentlest pink hue, a nod towards the most iconic Sakura colours.

THE COLLECTION

Like other pieces in our Warisan family, the Warisan Sakura collection features a pair of earring studs, a necklace pendant, and a ring.

They will be available for purchase in extremely limited quantities in our Digital Trunk Show: Bangles & Botanicals on the 19th and 20th of October 2024.
