Q: Why is Choo Yilin going on hiatus? 

A: Choo Yilin is taking a hiatus to reflect, and build the infrastructure for the next chapter of this journey of love, heritage and becoming. We’ve shared more about this on our post, Choo Yilin Interlude: Pressing Pause.

Q: Is Choo Yilin going on hiatus because of financial reasons?

No, Choo Yilin is not going on hiatus because of financial reasons. We are grateful that we have been profitable every year of operations. Rather, the self-funded organisational structure that has carried us through ten years of healthy financials and growth has to undergo radical change to drive the company’s next phase of growth and expansion. We’ve shared more about this in the “Why” section of our post, Choo Yilin Interlude: Pressing Pause.

Q: Will Choo Yilin be coming back? 

A: Yes! Choo Yilin will be back, building on the guiding principles that have led us thus far. We cannot wait to continue this journey with you in the next decades and many more to come. 

Q: When is the last day I can purchase from the Mandarin Gallery Flagship boutique? 

A: 3rd November 2019. Our flagship boutique is located at Mandarin Gallery #02-23, 333A Orchard Road, Singapore 238897. To schedule an appointment, please visit our Make An Appointment page.

Q: When is the last day I can purchase from the Choo Yilin website? 

A: 3rd November 2019. A curation of our collections is available for viewing and purchase at chooyilin.com.

Q: I have Choo Yilin store credit. Where and how can I use it? 

Your store credit will be honoured until 3rd November 2019 at the Mandarin Gallery Flagship Boutique. Please make an appointment with us via our Make An Appointment page.

Q: I have a Choo Yilin piece that’s being worked on right now. When and how can I collect it? 

A: Collection (for custom orders or items that have been sent in for after-sales care) can be arranged at either the Mandarin Gallery Flagship Boutique or the Joo Chiat Atelier; a member of the Choo Yilin team will personally reach out to you when it is ready. 

 
 

Q: There are some Choo Yilin pieces that I would like to send for after-sales servicing. Where and how can I do so?

Q: Will you be holding a closing sale?

A: There will be no further reductions on the products available at the Mandarin Gallery Flagship Boutique beyond the current promotion we are running. We are looking through our inventory to see if a sale of discontinued and archived items is feasible, and will share more information when possible.
