Kickstarting Choo Yilin At Mandarin Gallery

Last Friday, we had the honour of two esteemed panel speakers as well as our incredible invited guests down to witness the start of Choo Yilin at Mandarin Gallery. More than just a private event to get the first peek at the newly furbished store, our treasured guests were also treated to an intimate panel discussion with Tjin Lee, Paige Parker, and Yilin herself as they shared their incredibly inspiring anecdotes on their struggles and thoughts as they maneuvered through life's twists and turns.

They reminded us that milestones, no matter how big or small, need not always be glamourous or happy for that matter. Milestones comes in emotions and shapes of all sizes - and as long as they shaped you into the person we are, or are striving to be, they deserve to be wholly celebrated.

We at Choo Yilin, believe that we are a brand of becoming, with a whole lot more obstacles and milestones to overcome in the near future, as we work towards our goal. Between the laughter and stories of "feathers" and "the best place to view stars in the world" (of which the answer is: The Sahara Desert), we hope that everyone walked away with a new spring in their step, ever inspired to face a new day filled with both bumps and highlights worth celebrating.

As Tjin aptly shared, "we're constantly a work-in-progress" and we couldn't agree more.
