The Classics: The Jade Is The Story
In the last #10YearswithChooYilin, we’ve been known to create elaborate pieces,
full of detail and colour; and each piece is always one that is rich with meaning -
a visual idiom to an important Asian story.
In 2019, to mark the milestone of our first decade, we wanted to introduce something familiar, and yet vastly different. In contrast to the detailed stories we’ve been telling since the brand began, we’re paring it all down and going deeper, to the very root of it all - where the jade itself is the story.

The Classics - a collection of quintessential pieces that serve to embellish everyday moments with awe.
Chosen from the top 1% Type A Jadeite in the world, an extremely precious, and limited selection. Each jade round is custom-cut and the entire piece is crafted by hand; the jade’s organic nature is preserved to its finest. No heat treatment. No colour added. No two pieces are identical.
THE JADE VINTAGE
In winemaking, the vintage denotes the year of harvest. The characteristics of a particular vintage year are determined by the weather conditions and resulting grape crop for that year.
For The Classics, each Choo Yilin jade vintage is unique, each one presenting a curation of jade that share certain traits - colours, characteristics, and translucencies combine to form a jade vintage. Each jade vintage is limited edition.

The Classics were designed for dreamers, lovers, learners and warriors - it’s the jade for everyone. This collection is handcrafted in 9KT solid gold, and come in an exquisite curation of Type A Jadeite studs and necklaces in varied sizes, designed for every style choice and discernment. Due to the organic nature of jade, each vintage is rare and cannot be replicated by man; once the piece is gone, there won’t be another one exactly like it.
