The Influencers Before Us: A Digital Trunk Show Celebrating Heritage & Jewellery
From 5–7 December 2025, we invite you to gather with us for our final trunk show of the year. It will be the closing chapter to a season that has been, in every sense, about fresh beginnings: new ideas, first unveilings, and rare creations that exist in scarcity.
Over the past four weeks, our short film, The Influencers Before Us, has prepared the way. Like the jewellery we create, the film honours how stories travel through time — from the hands of grandmothers to our own. It celebrates the blending of traditions and cultures from around the world, reminding us that when we honour every part of who we are, no matter where we come from, we become creators of our own kind of magic. This trunk show carries that theme into vivid, tangible form.
So much of Choo Yilin’s work has always been rooted in the UNESCO Heritage neighbourhood of Joo Chiat, where our founder, Yilin, and her family has lived for five generations. Yet this time, we wanted to continue honouring our origins in a way that also speaks to our growing international community. As Yilin says:
“Peranakan culture was never just a tradition — it was a rebellion. It broke the rules of purity and created something wildly original and beautiful out of difference. In a world obsessed with borders and neat boxes, this story holds a radical truth: the most extraordinary things happen when cultures collide and integrate.
Our work isn’t about preserving the past — it’s about showing how the present, and the future, are born when we learn from it.”
This philosophy lives at the heart of everything we are about to unveil.
What To Expect AT THE DIGITAL TRUNK SHOW
The Jade Clover Collection: Our first complete collection since our 2019 hiatus, and the first designed with brides in mind. It features a ring, necklace, earrings, and — most momentously — not one, but two long-awaited jade bangles. The last time we released a new bangle design was in 2017, making this moment nearly a decade in the making.

Beloved Icons Available Again: For those who have travelled this journey with us for years, we return to the Peranakan Lace and Flower collections, together with the Warsian Diadem collection. Most notably, the Peranakan Lace Jade Ring, long requested and unavailable since 2019, will finally be released again — but in extremely limited quantities.
The First-Ever Detachable Drops: We are proud to unveil the Pomegranate Bell Drops — our first detachable earring drops, crafted in 18KT gold with Type A Ice Jade and melee diamonds.

Jade Bangles of Extraordinary Scarcity: There will only be 11 jade bangles in total, each one entirely unique.
Refurbished Heirlooms: Perhaps most poignantly, we present five one-of-one estate jewellery pieces, each lovingly restored from a Peranakan matriarch’s private collection. You can read more about these wonders at Madam T’s Trousseau.
