The Jade Clover Bangles: Fine Jade Jewellery for Brides & Heirlooms

Owning a Choo Yilin jade bangle has, for many of you, always felt like a pinnacle in our world. Time and again, they are the first to sell out at every Trunk Show. We are deeply humbled by that, and it’s part of why these bangles will always hold a very special place in our hearts.

Of course, there is the craftsmanship: the intricate metalwork, the layering of gemstones, the cool presence of jade at the centre of it all. But for us, it has never been just about craft. These bangles are our storytellers. Through the filigree, the textured motifs, the jade cabochons and the glint of diamonds, we are telling the stories we cannot imagine not telling — of heritage, culture, memory, and love.

Journalists have often asked us why we chose to wrap goldwork around jade, when most fine jewellery sets stones into gold instead. The answer is simple: we wanted to honour jade as the protagonist. In our world, gold and gemstones play their roles in service of the jade, not the other way around. That choice has become a defining hallmark of the Choo Yilin universe, and it is something we carry with a mixture of pride and responsibility.

It’s been a long time since we unveiled a new bangle motif. The last was in 2017, when we introduced the Hydrangea Jade Bangle. It remains a beloved milestone in our journey together. Which is why today feels so meaningful: after more than eight years, we are introducing not just one, but two new motifs from our newest Jade Clover Collectionthe Jade Clover Trio Bangle and the Jade Clover Legacy Bangle.

The Jade Clover Trio Bangle

The Trio Bangle features three four-leaf clovers placed evenly around the jade.

If you look closely, you’ll see all the hallmarks of what our community has come to love — textured bark frames, matte petals edged with milgrain, tiny melee diamonds glistening like dew.

At the centre sits a custom-cut Type A lavender jade cabochon, and at the back, our own clasp holds the lacework of gold gently yet securely around the jade.

The Jade Clover Legacy Bangle

The Legacy Bangle takes a different path. Instead of three smaller clovers, we stretched the motif into one elongated clover across the jade, so there was room to play with even more texture, depth and detail.

And just when you think you’ve seen it all, there is a surprise — the central lavender jade cabochon is flanked by vivid pink tourmalines, a playful burst of colour against the serene lavender.

When we were designing these, we thought not only about how they looked, but about what they could mean. The clover has long symbolised luck and blessings, across many cultures and places. It feels both universal and deeply personal.

Our hope is that when you see these pieces, you don’t only think about the story of how they came to be, but also feel your own stories and wishes reflected back at you. Above all, we hope you feel the love we poured into them — that they may live with you not only as adornments, but as talismans of beauty, heritage, and blessings.
